In 1983 Alejandro started his guitar studies at the Manuel de Falla Conservatorie and at the end of 1988 he started his vocal studies with Beatriz Viñas. After that, he continued his studies with professors such as Nicolás Amatto, Guillermo Rozenthuler, Lorena Astudillo, Renata Parusell, Mónica Capra. Currently he is studing with Andrés Aciar.
In 1981 Alejandro started acting classes at the Alejandra Boero academy with Professor Cristina Scaramuzza, and participated in several performances there as well.
In 1996 he formed the first tango duo with Alejo Caramés, they presented their show in different places around Buenos Aires, always in the best places for tango shows.
Alejandro was the main character in the play “Fausto” by Goethe, which was presented at the IFT theatre at the end of 1999.
In 2000 Alejandro graduated from the Escuela del Sindicato Argentino de Músicos with a degree in music interpretation and performance, with specialization in singing. He then mastered the functional methodology of the voice, which is a German methodology. He has been teaching since 1995.

In 2004 Alejandro recorded his first tango album “Donde estás...Tango”.
At the end of 2005 he participated in the tango show “Proa al tango” which took place at the Fragata Sarmiento and was directed by the pianist Nicolás Ledesma.
Alejandro formed the group “Alejandro Presta y el Bondi”. This sextet was the finalist of the first competition of orchestal tango groups. They presented the show in different places of Argentina, and in Chile, Uruguay, and Brazil.
Currently Alejandro is part of “el Bondi” and has a duo with the guitarrist Valentín Ponieman. In 2007 he will enter in the tango company “Estampas Porteñas”. |
